My garden is full of promise today. It feels as though it's teasing me, with its half opened buds, just biding their time, waiting for the right moment.

Your garden will be a riot of colour when all those buds open. I love alliums.
I have some deep purple alliums just on the point of opening... trouble is, we forgot they were there when we planted a dogwood... now I can't see them from the house. However, a garden shouldn't be viewed all at once should it, you should get nice surprises as you walk around. And that's my excuse anyway, for beautiful, almost hidden alliums!
